What’s in season or really popular right now with shoppers? Hot cross buns, both apple & cinnamon and traditional!
… and what’s your favourite thing in-store at the moment? Hot cross buns and sour dough loaves.
How long have you been working here? It’s been 11 years at Highlands Marketplace (since the beginning) and almost 20 years in Bowral and Mittagong stores.
What’s do you reckon is the best part of your job? Getting to know our customers and being part of our local community. It's safe to say I'm 'born and bread' here.
What are your interests in life? Any hobbies, interests or mad obsessions? Gardening, vintage and recycled furniture.
What is the funniest or most unusual request you’ve ever had from a customer? (Keep it clean!). We get requests for custom made bread and our bakers can actually create bread sculptures including rabbits, kangaroos and crocodiles.
Looking back at your time at Highlands Marketplace what have been some of the highlights? Watching the children in the community grow up is a privilege. We've seen them from kindergarten come on-board for apprenticeships with us and qualify as fully qualified bakers.
