What’s in season or really popular right now with shoppers?
BBQ snags and steaks are the current favourites. The warm weather has everyone firing up the grill, so these items are in high demand.
What’s your favourite thing in-store at the moment?
My personal favourite has to be the Wagyu New York steak. It’s got great marbling and flavour that makes it stand out.

What are your interests, any hobbies, interests, or mad obsessions?
I’m a huge NRL fan, and my favourite team is the Rabbitohs. Outside of work, I’m always following the footy and keeping up with the latest games.
What’s the best part of your job?
Meeting new people and talking to all our customers.
What is the funniest or most unusual request you’ve ever had from a customer?
One time, a customer asked if we sold grass-fed chicken! It was pretty funny because, of course, chickens don’t eat grass! Another one was asking for vegetarian sausages at a butcher – that one definitely caught me off guard!
Is there anything you're particularly excited for/looking forward to?
Just being new owners has been exciting!
